Dear Reader,

As some of you know, being with children, you can always relive
much of your fun childhood memories. You get to replay many of the
games you used to play when you were a child. Also during times
like Halloween, you get to play all the fun games that you almost
forgotten. Apple bobbing is one of these games.

"Apple bobbing" is played by putting an apple in a large container
full of water. The apple will float and each contestant (student)
tries to bite the apple out of the water. It is not as easy as it
sounds. The fun part of this game is that you will get your hair
wet in order to get the apple. It is actually a lot of fun! The
winner gets to keep the apple. Even the ones that weren't able to
get the apple got a "consolation" prize, guess what, an apple ^_^
    It's all in good fun.

You might be wondering why I haven't written in a while. It
actually isn't the school. The school is running smoothly. I make
sure everyone isn't overworked so they can enjoy what they are
doing and be happy. What kept me busy is this website that one of
my students told me about. Originally, I was just going to test
it for my school, but I ended up playing a lot myself. At first, I
thought it was for children, but there are more than 20 million
players of all ages around the world playing and more importantly,
interacting. It is quite a dynamic and HUGE website. For people
who like to practice and advance their English, give it a try:
http://www.neopets.com Just go to the "Create a Pet", to create
your free account. Let me know how it goes.

You might not know that I check each of your names that go into
our database. It is interesting to note that I noticed some very
unusually names. It is OK to be creative and different with your
English name, but a line has to be drawn. If your name is "too
unusual", it will cause you problems in the future. An example
of this would be the name that I just came across, "Maybe." Maybe
what? Or "Maybe" who? Maybe "Maybe" is just a pen name. I really
hope so because it will cause a lot of problems if it is used
with foreign people. Can you imagine, "Hello, my name is Maybe."

I think there are lots of good English names that can be found on
the Internet. Baby websites, which I have been visiting often, can
provide you many different names to choose from.
http://www.babycenter.com/babyname/ is only one example. You can
also get the meaning of your English name, which I get asked a lot.
By the way, my daughter's name will be "Chloe", which is of Greek
    origin and means "blooming".

The latest update on my baby is that she is getting pretty big.
Her movements are getting more and more sophisticated. It isn't
just light kicking anymore. She turns and I can even see Angel's
stomach move. She's also more active in the evenings and early
morning hours, just like her dad ^_^

The experience I gained from educating children will hopefully help
me to be a better father. I hope for my daughter to be a
self-confident, creative, and happy little girl. The same qualities
I hope to mold into my students.

I have received many great letters from our readers since writing
about my baby girl (still in the womb). I like to share one with
    you:
"Congratulations! I am really happy to hear that you will have a
baby girl. It is simply because I am a mother of two girls. Your
identity will soon be changed. When I first knew that I would be
a mother six years ago, my husband and I were very excited as well
as our other family members. We visited the library and bookshops
to look for related books. I shopped around all the time to buy
many baby's stuff and clothes for different seasons. You will find
that everything is done for welcoming the new guest. This is one
of the happiest periods in my life and I always smile every time
I think of it. I am happy to share with you my experiences."

My mother is also very excited about her first grandchild. She
bought a lot of stuff for Chloe already. We also got A LOT of great
baby stuff from parents at our school. All so cute! Since this is
our first baby, I think we should be ready for many surprises, but
I know our parents at the school and our JacksonFive Family will be
    there with helpful advice ^_^
